Georgian wine companies are satisfied with their sales figures on the Russian market. Georgian wine has been back on sale in Russia for over a month. A spokesman for the Dugladze Wine Company has stated that their products were sold out soon after going on sale at various shopping malls in Moscow.
The Director General of Tbilighvino has told TV3 that in order to get back onto the Russian market, companies had to go through far more stringent procedures than are required for exporting wine to the European countries. Tbilghvino has already made its first shipment of wine to Russia, and is preparing for the next one.
