Violence against Tax Service Employees

Tax Services employees have been physically attacked by some business owners. The head of the Public Relations and Marketing Department at the Tax Services has confirmed instances of violence. According to him, three cases of violence have been registered during the past 10 days alone. Business owners who had not been using cash registers attacked Tax Services employees who were issuing them with fines. Such incidents continue to happen despite the financial penalty having been reduced from 500 GEL to 200 GEL.
