Vauxhall to reveal four new cars at Geneva Motor Show
After months of hype, the Geneva Motor Show is now less than two weeks away: and one carmaker has revealed its plans for not one or two, but FOUR world premieres at the event.
The Cascada is perhaps the most significant of them all – at least for now – because it will head to UK showrooms in April. According to Vauxhall, it is a vehicle that combines affordability with technology and luxury and will come with a choice of two trims: with the entry model including 18″ alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and sports chassis as standard.
In addition, the model comes with a range of powerful and efficient engines: from a 1.4litre turbo to a 2.0litre diesel and a 1.6 SIDI ECOTEC petrol engine. It will be priced from 23,995 on the road.
Meanwhile, Geneva attendees are likely to be wowed by the ADAM ROCKS, an urban
The second ADAM concept, meanwhile, is a Rally Cup variation of the newcomer and is set to mark sister company Opel’s official return to motorsport. It has been built to FIA R2 regulations, is powered by a 1.6litre 16v engine and is capable of producing 185PS and 190Nm of torque.
Finally, also making its debut, will be a new generation 1.6litre CDTI start/stop diesel engine that will first appear in the Vauxhall Zafira. It is set to be the company’s cleanest diesel model to date: offering 136PS and 320Nm of torque while managing fuel economy of 68.9mpg and CO2 emissions at just 109g/km.
The new models will be released during the company’s Press conference on March 5.
