How many people have taken advantage of the Universal Health Care program during its second stage of operation, and have there been any flaws in the services? According to the data from the Ministry of Health, over 37 500 cases have been recorded between July 1 and August 19, including over 26 000 outpatient and over 10 000 inpatient cases. Rusudan Gogolashvili, the head of the Universal Health Care program management department, has told TV3 that minor flaws have been reported until now. According to her, several citizens who terminated contracts with private insurance firms in order to participate in the Universal Health Care program, were unable to do so for a certain period of time due to technical issues. Individuals who held an alternative type of insurance as of July 1 are only able to use the basic Universal Health Care package.
