Turkmen oil transportation via BTC pipe reached 7 million tons

Baku — Pipeline Company BTC Co is exploiting actively an additional source of oil for transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan informs that Turkmen oil supplies which started via BTC in July 2010, reduced in November versus the index of October 2012.

“Until 1st December 2012 it was delivered 6.9 million tons, including 2.237 million tons in 2011,” it was informed.

At that, this November it was supplied 243,501 tons versus 285,332 tons in October, 217,264 tons in September, 241,532 tons in August, 232.277 tons in July, 215,544 tons in June, 214,561 tons in May, 207,190 tons in April, 317,981 tons in March, 326,676 tons in February, 318,158 tons in January of 2012 and 797,000 tons in April 2011 (absolute record of delivery per month for the entire history). For Jan-Nov of 2012 it was pumped 2.8 million tons of Turkmen oil.
