Traffic In Tbilisi will not be Blocked

(CNA)-According to the announcement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia today, traffic in Tbilisi from noon will not be blocked due to the opposition demonstration on Rustaveli Avenue: “This decision by  the ministry was taken in accordance with the interests of Tbilisi residents, in order to avoid causing travel inconvenience. Meanwhile, MIA cares about protecting the security of the action participants and the decision on blocking traffic on Rustaveli Avenue and other joining streets will be taken in accordance with the situation. The Ministry will inform the society about any new decision promptly,” says the announcement.
