The opening of the first branch of the American fast food chain subway in Tbilisi has been delayed until November. Company spokesman Givi Ordenidze has told TV3 that while renovation works are proceeding according to the schedule, part of the store equipment and decoration is unavailable in Georgia, and it is therefore possible that the branch will open a month later than planned. According to Mr. Ordenadze, there are plans to open at least one Subway branch in every district in Tbilisi within 5 years. The size of each store will range between 100 and 150 m2.
