The Bank of Georgia Mobile Banking Application now Available for BlackBerry Users

Tbilisi, 17 September 2013 – The Bank of Georgia, the leading bank in Georgia, is announcing the expansion of its mobile banking service, and the release of a new generation Mobile Bank application for BlackBerry. The application will allow users to obtain banking services wherever they need, and to conduct all basic internet banking transactions.
More specifically, Mobile Bank will allow users to: manage their personal accounts, bank cards and loans; conduct financial transactions to any other Bank of Georgia account; pay bills and top up the mobile phone balance; obtain account statements; find the location of the nearest Bank of Georgia service centre or ATM; contact the bank’s customer service centre; block their bank cards, if needed; change their login details; check their American Express bonus programme MR points balance; send a ‘lightning’ message; check currency exchange rates and use the currency convertor; use templates for the most common banking transactions; and other. The use of the Mobile Bank application is free.
The new Mobile Bank application is easy to use. Customers can use the same authorisation details as for the internet banking service to log into their accounts. To download the application on a BlackBerry, customers can either visit the m.bog.ge website from their smartphones, or contact a Bank@Georgia consultant at the following service centres in Tbilisi: 2 Embankment Street (Public Service Hall); 41 Vazha-Pshavela Avenue; 7 Chavchavadze Avenue; 1 Vekua Street; 3 Pushkin Street; 70 Kostava Street. The Bank of Georgia has already released applications for iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets. The Mobile Bank application will soon also be available to use on the latest BlackBerry models – Z10, Q10 and Q5.
