The wine company Teliani Valley is to become active on the Brazilian market. According to the company’s Director General Shota Khobelia, it will export 50 000 bottles of Saperavi to Brazil. The order serves as a trial, and has not reached the Brazilian consumers yet. According to Mr. Khobelia, there was interest from the company’s Brazilian partners in other varieties of wine as well, but foremost of all, in Saperavi. Teliani Valley is currently operating in 27 countries, and does not rule out entering new markets in the future.
