Tbilisi Mayor Confident he can Prove his Innocence

The Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava is convinced that he will be able to prove his innocence during the criminal investigation process which has been initiated against him. At today’s preliminary court hearing, defense attorneys representing Mr. Ugulava and Davit Kezerashvili have submitted a motion to have the criminal charges against their defendants dropped. The motion has been rejected by the presiding judge. The prosecution has brought charges against Mr. Ugulava relating to activities regarding TbilServiceGroup Ltd. and the Imedi television company.
