Tax Services Board of Appeals

Have there been any changes in the activity of the Tax Services Board of Appeals? The Tax Services have published the statistics for their activities during the first two quarters of the year. Between January and June 2013, the Board of Appeals has dealt with a total of 5517 appeals, 547 of which have been fully upheld, 2186 partially upheld, and 1585 rejected. A spokesman for the Tax Services has told TV3 that the Board of Appeals activities have become fully transparent.
IliaUni Business Review researcher Giorgi Abashishvili, who also sits on the Board of Appeals, has stated that the board’s activities are tailored to the interests of the businesses. According to him, the Board of Appeals is aiming to be fully transparent, and not to cause any delays in the activities of the businesses.
