A new State fund for financing new businesses is being established. Aiming to stimulate the growth of new businesses, the fund is to become operational in the near future. According to a spokesman at the Ministry of the Economy, the project is currently at a developing stage. However, no firm timescale has been provided yet. Commenting on the government’s new initiative, the President of the Chamber of Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises Kakha Kokhreidze has told TV3 that in the light of the slow economic growth rate, it is vital for the State to become actively involved.
