The Ministry of the Economy is to begin analysing the situation on the Georgian aviation market. The move has been initiated at Airzena’s request, who ask for more attention to be paid by the government to the national airline. The company’s Director General has told TV3 that government support is essential for solving problems such as improving the condition of the landing strip and other infrastructure. It is also necessary to have international agreements reviewed, and only then can the companies operating on the market be tasked with fulfilling obligations such as ensuring a safe transfer of passengers, according to Airzena’s boss.
