The Regulatory Commission, at the company Magti’s request, has asked operating companies to present appropriate permits for supplying rewinding and pausing services to their customers. The Commercial Director of Silknet has told TV3 that the company presented documentary evidence of the agreements which it has in place with television channels to the Regulatory Commission.
A spokesman for Magti has stated that the company’s request has proved to be justified, since the Regulatory Commission found Caucasus Online to be guilty of breaching norms. Caucasus Online have themselves declined to comment on the issue, saying that the company will be releasing a full statement in the near future.
