The sentencing of Rusudan Kervalishvili and Maia Rcheulishvili will take place today. They are facing charges of fraud. The prosecution claims that the defendants appropriated their clients’ properties. One of Centre Point’s founders Vakhtang Kervalishvili has told TV3 that should Ms. Kervalishvili and Ms. Rcheulishvili be sentenced to prison terms, then it will be impossible for the company’s clients to obtain property. Mr. Rcheulishvili states that part of the company’s assets have been seized, and that up to this point, the process of registering flats in the names of the affected customers was ongoing. Mr. Rcheulishvili claims that hundreds of customers had received their properties during the past 3 months.
