The Ministry of Education will use second hand textbooks in its free school textbook project. Along with newly printed textbooks, those books that had been distributed to socially vulnerable children free of charge in previous years, and were later returned to the schools, will be used in the current distribution process. According to a statement from the Education Ministry, the second hand textbooks to be re-used in the current programme will be low in number and in a very good condition. The process of distributing the textbooks amongst the schools has begun, and all public school pupils will obtain them free of charge on 16 September.
