Sales of Georgian Mineral Water in Russia

What are the sales figures like for Georgian mineral water on the Russian market? A spokesman for IDS Borjomi has told TV3 that the renewed process of the company establishing itself on the Russian market is proceeding successfully. Levan Koberidze, a spokesman for the company Sairme, is also satisfied with the sales on the Russian market, stating that the figure increase every month.
The mineral water brand Nabeghlavi is to become available on the Russian market in a month’s time. According to a company spokesman, Nabeghlavi has already studied the Russian market, and is ready to join the competition.
Following the lifting of the 2006 embargo, exports of Georgian mineral water to the Russian market were resumed in May this year.
