Sale Campaign at New Light will Last till the End of 2013

New Light is a growing company, which is very popular in Georgia and tries to offer refined, tasty product to its consumers. CNA interviewed Tata Morchiladze, PR Manager of the company.

- Your company started operating on the local market in 1999. Wasn’t it difficult to get positioned on the market in that period and was the company successful from the very beginning?

- Yes, New Light was founded on October 18, 1999 and it’s still operating successfully on the local market. Generally, to be a success isn’t that simple, but we managed it thanks to the right management and the effort our employees made. Today New Light is a famous and favorite brand. At that period, the lightning systems and the vision of lightning culture, eco lights and systems, -all that sounded new to the local population. New Light became successful by offering high-quality and innovative products and services.

- How many shops do you operate in Georgia and which city is the most profitable according to sales?

- At this time New Light owns 14 shops, out of which 6 are located in regions (Batumi, Kutaisi, Gori, Poti, Marneuli, Zugdidi) and 8-in Tbilisi. The most successful are, of course, the shops in Tbilisi and Batumi, however, other cities are also profitable.

- As we know, the company led a 20 % sale campaign on LED lights. Are you planning similar projects in nearest future and what other news will New Light offer its consumers?

- Yes, we’re planning some projects. Since April 2013 New Light has launched various informational and sale campaigns in order to raise the culture of lightning. The campaigns will last till the end of 2013. Each season we’ll have different event weeks, devoted to particular conception. In addition sale offer, our customers will be able to get more information about lights and other technologies through our blog, uploaded on our website.

- Light Emitting Diode (LED) is the leader in the lighting sphere. How big was the consumer activity during the sale week?

- The fact that Georgians are very exigent to innovations is pleasant; always look through the news and want to be offered the world trends from companies. Nowadays, LED is used by more and more people. These convenient and economy lights are rather demanded in Georgia as well. Large offices, retail networks and private individuals are switching to LED. More and more architects and designers are using them in their works and that’s why, demand is growing. I believe that this was a due both for who are familiar with LED, have used them and who have not heard of it yet and we hope that soon they will become our customers.

- Which production is the most demanding according to the latest statistics and why?

- At this time, the most required products are lights and lamps supplied by our partner OPPLE and PHILIPS ECO. The reason is the current tendency to replace old-fashioned lights with new ones, another reason is the price. Also, demand is changed in accordance with seasons. In spring outdoor lams, street illumination and technical lights get more demanded.
