Sakstat’s Preliminary Data on Economic Growth during the 3rd Quarter

According to Sakstat’s preliminary data, Georgia’s economic growth rate during the third quarter of 2013 was 1.3%. The same data shows that the economy grew by 1.7% during the month of September, similar to the same period last year. The final results will be published by Sakstat in December. The economy had grown by 1.5% during the second quarter, while at the end of the year, the government expects the annual economic growth rate figure to be 3% instead of the 6% which was predicted earlier.
