Sairme mineral water also returns to the Russian market, following Borjomi. As Vakhtang Kopaleishvili, General Director of the company told TV3, Sairme has already gone through the registration process and preparations for the first export activities have started. In his words, labels are already being produced and 100 000 bottles will be sent to the Russian market in the coming days. Another Georgian mineral water brand Nabeghlavi is also getting prepared to Russian market return. According to the company’s representative, Nabeghlavi samples will be sent to Russia in near future.
FYI, Russia put embargo on Georgian mineral waters in 2006 when Georgian-Russian relations got complicated. Official reason named was low quality of the mineral waters.
