Saakashvili Admits that Georgian Dream Coalition Wins Parliament Majority

Central Election Commission of Georgia (CECG) has announced prelimenary results of the October 1, 2012 Parliamentary Elections. According to CECG, Billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili’s Georgian Dream coalition (GD) has won the parliament majority. President of Georgia admitted the defeat of the United National Movement (UNM) and declared readiness to work with the winner coalition. “Despite the fact that there’s a substantial difference between our views, we, as an opposition party, are ready to work with GD,” stated the President.
In total 2 million 197 thousand (61 %) people voted in the elections.
