Regional Governor to Replace the Minister of Agriculture of Georgia

Georgia has a new minister of agriculture. Bakur Kvezereli has been replaced by Zaza Gorozia, the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional governor. Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri announced the cabinet reshuffle at the special briefing on October 20.

`I want to thank Bakur for his work during the past three years. He solved the problem of vintage, improved the situation in the agriculture sector in general including export of products, but we think that there is a need of a new vision, new energy, that`s why I want to introduce a new minister  to you. Zaza Gorozia worked as the Samegrelo governor for the past six years and did it successfully, ` PM said.
