Protests against the Planned Removal of Collectors’ Edition Wines

Locals are protesting against the export of collectors’ edition wines from the former wine enterprise in Zestaponi. Local residents had gathered at the wine cellar, which is owned by the Agricultural University, for the duration of last night. According to them, there are plans to remove collectors’ edition wine bottles from the cellar – something that the locals do not wish to allow, as they consider it their cultural heritage which ought to remain in Zestaponi.
