Presidential Elections will not Damage the Business Environment

According to the businessmen surveyed by TV3, the upcoming presidential elections will not damage the business environment in the country. Rovnag Abdulaev, the President of the Azarbaijani State Oil Company, states that the investment climate remains positive, and Socar will continue conducting investments into the Georgian market as planned. Mr. Abdulaev does not think that the elections are having any significant influence upon the State’s economic policies.
Soso Pkhakadze, the Chairman of the supervisory council at the Wissol Group, has stated that even though the elections are having an impact upon the business sector, the company is operating a long term strategy which will not be affected by temporary processes.
