President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Visits Lebanon

Kakha Baindurashvili, the President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) continues business visits abroad with the main goal to attract foreign investors in Georgia.

On January 20-25 the President of GCCI holds business meetings in the capital of the Republic of Lebanon. The target of his visit is to deepen trade-economic relations between the two countries. Lebanon is interested in boosting trade-economic and business relations with Georgia, especially in banking and service sectors.

During the business meeting planned in Beirut GCCI President will talk about Georgia’s investment potential, the country’s business climate, economic and institutional reforms and improved ratings.

Today Kakha Baindurashvili meets with Raymond Audi, the Chairman of Bank Audi, the biggest bank in Lebanon. On January 24 meetings are planned with the Parliament speakers. On January 25 GCCI President will meet Joe Issa-El-Khoury, the Executive Director of M1 Group, the company owned by Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

In the frame of the visit Kakha Baindurashvili will also meet with the representatives from the Chambers of Commerce of Lebanon and Arabian countries, Ministries of Economy, Transport and Tourism.
