President of Georgia Appointed a Personal Representative to the Kakheti Region

On July 26 Levan Bezhashvili, President`s personal representative to the Kakheti region, began fulfilling his duties. Bezhashvili, who resigned from the post of the State Audit Office chief a few days before, has been appointed the Head of the Special Headquarters in the region. Bezhashvili is in charge of controlling the Kakheti rehabilitation process and coordinating the work of the State offices in the disaster affected region.

Lasha Tordia assumed the office of the state audit chief after Bezhashvili`s resignation.
