President demands Chief Prosecutor’s Resignation

Prior to embarking on a visit to Moldova, the President Mikheil Saakashvili has called upon the Prime Minister and the government to have the Chief Prosecutor Archil Kbilashvili relieved of his duties.
According to the Georgian President, by freeing Vladimer Bedukadze, the Chief Prosecutor has violated every principle of the rule of law.
