Position of the Head of Sakstat becomes Vacant

The position of the head of Sakstat has become vacant. Zaza Chelidze has made a statement about his departure from the organisation on his personal Facebook page. According to the statement, he no longer works at Sakstat due to the expiry of his 4 year term, and him moving on to another job. Executive directors of Sakstat are being appointed to serve 4 year terms, and are dismissed by the President of Georgia. In the absence of an Executive Director, his duties are being fulfilled by one of his deputies. Zaza Chelidze’s term in office was due to expire in December 2013.
