Political and Judicial Decisions in the Cases of Confiscated Businesses

The Business Ombudsman Giorgi Gakharia has stated that the cases of businessmen who had their property confiscated under the previous government have to be resolved by the courts. Any decisions taken through alternative ways will be open to review and invalidation in the future, according to the Mr. Gakharia. The ombudsman’s comments come in response to the Prime Minister’s earlier statement that a political decision needs to be made in the cases concerning the businessmen who lost their property
