Why is there only one company taking part in the tender announced by the Parliament for the purchase of office furniture? The tender was announced on July 29, and the application deadline has already passed. The company Modern Villa Ltd. is the sole participant in the tendering process. According to the company’s Director General Malkhaz Tkemaladze, other potential bidders were lacking the necessary experience in such processes, while Modern Villa has previously participated in numerous State tenders.
On the other hand, the Parliament spokeswoman Natia Khonelidze has stated that there was no strong interest shown by any company other than Modern Villa to take part in the bidding process. Modern Villa’s offer will be considered in the nearest future.
