Officers of Georgian Army Present a State Flag to Prime Minister

Officers of the Georgian Armed Forces have handed over a Georgian flag to the Prime Minister in the name of the Georgian contingent participating in the ISAF mission. The flag had flown above the mast at the Georgian base in Afghanistan.
Bidzina Ivanishvili hosted the head of the 3rd Infantry Brigade, Vice-Colonel Malkhaz Merlani, and the Deputy Commander of Training and Military Education, Colonel Aleksandre Kiknadze, in the State Chancellery. The flag ceremony was also attended by the Defence Minister Irakli Alasania.
