National Bank of Georgia’s (NBG) collection and other types of Lari banknotes, coins, bars and numismatic values are already sold at Zarapxana jewelry company. Memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two sides on June 28. The main reason of the decision, according to NBG officials, is a growth interest toward investment and collection numismatic values.

“Lately, we saw a great demand on the collection and investment coins. Tourists often visit our museum to buy the coins and from now on they can do the shopping at Zarapxana shops,” declared Giorgi Melashvili, Executive Director of NBG.

“There’s an increase interest on the local market on collection and investment coins. We’re happy to be the exclusive jeweler selling numismatic values of NBG,” stated Giorgi Georgelidze, General Director of Zarapxana.
