Nino Burjanadze on the Audit Service

The Chairman of the Democratic Movement party Nino Burjanadze has spoken about her organisation being thoroughly inspected by the National Audit Service. According to her, the party is prepared to fully cooperate with the Audit Service, and address any issues that might be raised by the latter. The presidential candidate insists that the party’s election campaign is proceeding in full compliance with the laws.
Differing views have been expressed by the Audit Service itself. According to the information from the organisation’s website, the Democratic Movement party opened tens of undeclared offices between August and September. The websites further states that inspections are being carried out at the other political parties, too. Thus far, 5 parties have been fined for various breaches.
