New Venture Edition models from Mazda

• Specced up versions of the Mazda3 and Mazda5
• Sports styling and generous interior equipment
• Zero per cent finance available

Mazda has announced special editions of both the Mazda3 hatchback and Mazda5 people carrier.

Based on the mid-range TS2 versions of each car, they feature front fog lights, gun metal grey alloy wheels, sports front grille, side skirts, rear spoiler and tinted windows.

Inside Sanyo TomTom Navigation is included along with Bluetooth connectivity, climate control and cruise control. The Mazda3 Venture Edition is further equipped with heated front seats and sporty interior trim detailing, for a £500 premium over the standard TS2 model. The Mazda5 Venture edition costs £630 more than the standard car and comes with piano black dashboard trim and iPod connectivity.

The Mazda5 comes with a choice of either a 2.0-litre MZR petrol engine developing 148bhp, or a 1.6-litre diesel, which is good for 113bhp. The Mazda3 comes only with 1.6-litre engines: a 104bhp petrol and a 113bhp diesel.

Cost conscious buyers will be particularly interested in the diesel Mazda3 as is has a combined fuel economy figure of 65.7mpg and low CO2 emissions of 115g/km.

The Venture Editions are available to order now, with the Mazda3 starting from £17,495 and the Mazda5 at £19,995 on the road.
