The energy sector is the leading area in attracting direct foreign investment. Ilia Eloshvili has told TV3 that new memorandums are currently being formalised with investors regarding projects worth hundreds of millions.
According to the Deputy Minister of Energy, the ministry is holding talks about additional investments with the Tata Group and the Anadolu Group. He also insisted that none of the projects have been suspended. According to Mr Eloshvili, wind energy projects will remain a priority for the ministry next year.
