Ukrainian businessmen have become interested in investing into the Kobuleti tourism zone. The Minister of the Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili has made a statement in this regard. He has not specified which companies are involved, but states that intensive negotiations are ongoing. As of today, there are only 3 hotels in the Kobuleti tourism zone which was initiated by President Mikheil Saakashvili, two of them still being unfinished. Companies involved in the construction works are to be freed from paying income tax for 15 years.
