New Hydroelectric Power Stations

TV3 has found out that investments in excess of 323 million USD have already been made in the Georgian energy sector this year. According to the Energy Ministry, five hydroelectric power stations are being built across the country. The largest of these projects is the construction of a 110 megawatt hydroelectric power station on the Tskhenistskali river. The project is being carried out by a Turkish company, at a cost of 200 million USD. The power station is expected to be completed and become fully operational by 2018.
