The dispute between Centre Point and the Tbilisi Mayor’s Office has reached a new phase. Maia Rcheulishvili has stated that the company has had its accounts frozen – a move for which she blames Gigi Ugulava. According to her, the demolition of three Centre Point properties (Tabukashvili, Saakadze and Sative) also took place at the behest of the Mayor and the company Dexus. Ms. Rcheulishvili has called upon the Prosecutor’s Office to examine the case. She adds that due to an existing agreement between the company and the Prosecutor’s Office, the freezing of the accounts will not affect Centre Point’s customers.
