The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to the international commonwealth with regards to the unlawful activities of the Russian occupational forces in the Tskhinvali region, and called upon it to take appropriate measures of punishment. The Russian military moved the ‘border’ back by several metres in the village of Ditsi yesterday, which was followed by protests from the local residents. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and European Union observers were at the scene to defuse the situation. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the actions of the Russian military have deprived the locals of access to their own agricultural land plots, the cemetery, and medical first aid.
