Minister of Finance of Georgia to Deliver at Lecture at ISET

October 10- Dimitri Gvindadze, Minister of Finance of Georgia, delivered a lecture at ISET (International School of Economics. The main topic of the lecture was Georgia’s economic growth tendencies. The Minister spoke of the fiscal policy, budget parameters, ongoing positive macroeconomic dynamic, GDP growth and structural reforms.

“ISETI has good economists. In this school, which was founded five years ago, we see students not only from Georgia but from Armenia and Azerbaijan as well. I dare say these young people study best advanced programs taught in the U.S.A and the leading European universities,” declared the Minister.

“Mr.Gvindadze is the member of the school board and has always been very supportive. I believe our partnership will continue in future,” stated Eric Livny, President and Executive Director of ISET.

ISET (International School of Economics at TSU) is an elite institution training leaders for academia, the public and private sectors in the entire South Caucasus region.

The International School of Economics was founded at Tbilisi State University in 2006, through a unique collaborative effort of the World Bank, BP, Open Society Institute, the governments of Georgia, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
