Koba Davitashvili to Leave Georgian Dream

Koba Davitashvili, the author of several controversial legislations, could leave the Georgian Dream coalition. He plans to make an extraordinary statement today. Mr. Davitashvili has had problems with members of the parliamentary majority on numerous occasions following the elections, including disagreements with the Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Health Minister Davit Sergeenko. Mr. Davitashvili was the author of the initiatives to ban gambling-related advertising, and to limit the activities of pharmaceutical and insurance companies.
