Kaztransgaz to be managed by the Kazakhstanis again?

Will Kaztransgaz be returned to the Kazakhstani side? The Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze has told TV3 that talks on this issue are progressing successfully. According to the Minister, the Ministry of the Economy had a few questions regarding the company’s financial debts, but Mr. Kaladze says that these problems have now been solved, and that the debt will be written off.
The Director General of Kaztransgaz Tbilisi has been unable to name the precise date when a Kazakhstani management team will return to the company. Details will emerge following the visit of the leading company figures to Georgia. Kaztransgaz Tbilisi has taken over the temporary management of the company, with the current deal set to run until 1 June 2014.
