Are the insurance companies insured for any financial or other sanctions placed upon them? The Insurance Supervision Service will begin inspecting organisations from next week. One of the companies to be inspected is the IC Group. The company director general has told TV3 that he welcomes such initiatives, and is prepared to respond to any enquiries.
According to the statement from the Insurance Supervision Service, the Insurance Association took part in arranging the criteria for the inspections. The head of the ISS Lasha Nikoladze has told TV3 that all documentation relating to the monitoring process will be sent to the government, which will decide on how to help the insurance companies that suffer losses as a result of their participation in the State programs.
