Increased Hotel Demand in Batumi

Hotels in Batumi are experiencing an increased demand during the tourist season. TV3 has spoken to the managers at a number of mid-size hotels in the city. According to the staff at the Premier Hotel, bookings are being made at a fast pace. The average price for a room at the hotel is 120 GEL. Representatives at the Era Palace hotel state that the increase in demand has begun in May, and that room prices start at 180 GEL. At the Rcheuli Villa hotel, which is also reporting a constant increase in bookings, room prices range from 60 GEL to 280 GEL.
