IMF to Review its Forecast

According to the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri, the International Monetary Fund has promised to review its forecasts regarding the country’s economic growth rate. Following a meeting with Meno Schnell, Mr. Khaduri stated that the Executive Director of the IMF was himself surprised by the forecast. The IMF had earlier lowered Georgia’s predicted economic growth rate to 2.5 percent for this year.
