IDS Borjomi International (Ukraine) and IDS Group Claim to be Raided

IDS Borjomi International (Ukraine) and IDS Group made a special announcement on November 12 about raid attack. The attack is said to take place by deceiving Ukrainian tax and other government bodies. According to the statement, based on GEL 250 thousand tax demand, the company’s actives, the value of which are dozens of million US dollars, are sequestrated. Banking accounts are frozen, which means that it’s an attempt to artificially bankrupt IDS Borjomi.

IDS Borjomi International is one of the largest international company established by Georgian capital. The group manages 8 mineral water factories in Georgia, Ukraine and Russia. IDS Borjomi International is the largest mineral water producer in CIS and Eastern Europe. The main brands of the company’s portfolio include: Borjomi, Mirshinskaya, Mirgorodskaya and Sviatoi Istochnik.

Control package of IDS Borjomi International belongs to late businessman Badi Patarkatsishvili’s family, other shareholders are Ukrainian and Georgian businessmen, also French, US and Dutch citizens.
