The President of the International Chamber of Georgia (ICC Georgia) Fady Asly says “The old government was always ready to meet investors while the new neither answers phone calls nor replies to emails.” The statement was made by Asly during Business Courier aired on Rustavi 2 broadcaster on November 24.

“I’m deeply concerned with the situation in the country. Social instability and strikes is a negative message to investors. Georgian economy is mainly depended on foreign capital and if they are threatened the deficit will occur, Lari will start to devaluate. During the last two month no foreign investment has entered Georgia and I think the situation will remain unchanged for the next three months. The government must work out an action plan as soon as possible,” declared The President of ICC Georgia.
