Which steps have to be taken in order to improve the country’s economy and business? The Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has told the media that he is planning to discuss medium term development prospects for the Georgian economy and business environment with experts.
Businessmen and experts have responded to the Prime Minister’s initiative. Temur Chkonia, the founder of Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia, has stated that Georgia must not be dependent on the development of local products alone, in order to develop its economy and business environment. Development of new technologies and new business ideas form a priority for him.
Independent analyst Demur Giorkherlidze has put forward the initiative to establish an economic council which would look after the country’s economic development.
