The oil importing company Gulf has rejected all accusations labelled against it recently. The owners of the companies Senta and Magnati claim that they were forced into the sale of their assets to Gulf by the previous government, and are demanding these to be returned to them. Dimitri Gabunia, a lawyer for Gulf, has stated that these claims are baseless and unacceptable. According to him, Gulf’s activities are public and transparent, and each purchase of any kind has been made lawfully. The case of Senta and Magnati is currently being studied by the Chief Prosecutor’s Office, and details of the case are to be announced in the near future.
