Government Working on New Budget

New macroeconomic parameters and new projects to stimulate economic growth – the government has begun to work on the 2014 budget. The Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri has told TV3 that next year’s budget will be passed on to the Parliament for a review towards the end of September. According to him, the budget will be partly influenced by the global economic events, which have an effect on the Georgian economy.
Mr. Khaduri adds that hitherto unprecedented export figures are currently being recorded. For the first time in the country’s modern history, exports have increased by 10% this year.
